you do and I do.

It was a busy weekend.  Friday night, I saw The Alabama Shakes.  I haven’t seen such an impressive and acoustically flawless show in a long time.  All I can say is Brittany Howard is my hero.

Saturday morning, my family all piled into a 15 passenger van and headed for Vegas.  We were there to see my brother and sis-in-law’s baby get blessed.  It was both wonderful and overwhelming to see everyone there.

Sunday night, Drew and I finally made it to our blessed bed.  It seemed to welcome us, to have missed us as much as we did.  I settled my head onto my favorite nook between Drew’s shoulder and chest.  My eye lids growing heavy, heavy, heavier.  I heard him say, “This is the happiest place on earth.”

I couldn’t agree more.
